The CMF Phone 2 Pro is an impressive gadget, with an out-of-the-box semi-modular design, competent processing power and a handy telephoto lens
NOTHING'S Phone 2 Pro challenges rivals like Realme, Redmi, Oppo and Poco with its impressive specifications and a price tag of Rs 18,999. Building on Carl Pei's vision of making technology accessible and interesting, Nothing has shifted from flagship offerings to innovative, value-driven devices. The Phone 2 Pro is the latest evolution, continuing the legacy of the Phone 2a series and the CMF Phone 1.
Design & Display
The Phone 2 Pro impresses at first glance – its orange variant stands out like a sports bike among commuter motorcycles. The design emphasises both aesthetics and functionality with accessories like a lanyard, a magnetic wallet/mobile stand, and an attachable plastic back panel that supports an ultrawide (fish-eye) and a macro lens. Although the buttons aren't as refined as on the Phone 1, the non-removable back panel boosts durability, upgrading the device from an IP52 to an IP54 rating (a TPU case is included for extra protection). Moving away from the trend of 3D curved displays, the 6.77-inch 120Hz OLED panel now features more symmetrical bezels and a 1,000-nit boost in peak brightness, ensuring an immaculate viewing experience.
