BANK OF BARODA (BoB), one of India's leading public sector banks, delivered a strong and well-rounded financial performance in FY24, marked by record profitability, solid credit growth, and improved asset quality.
The bank reported its highest-ever standalone net profit of Rs 17,789 crore for FY24, a 26.1 per cent jump over the Rs 14,110 crore profit posted in FY23.
The growth was driven by a sharp uptick in core income. Net interest income (NII) rose 9.4 per cent year over year to Rs 41,043 crore, while the net interest margin (NIM) for domestic operations stood at 3.26 per cent. The bank's total standalone income grew to Rs 1,17,517 crore from Rs 95,723 crore in the previous year.
