AT THE end of 1975 Emerson Fittipaldi shocked the motor-sport world when he left McLaren after winning his second world crown to join his brother Wilson's untried Fittipaldi Automotive team.

Three years later, the one-car-one driver team beat McLaren by two points in the Constructors' standings.

Hoping for a repeat, Fittipaldi Automotive introduced the new F6 with Chassis 01 in 1979, which is now being auctioned by RM Sotheby's upcoming Monaco event.
