The Vivo V40 offers a stylish design with a wavelike glass back panel that stands out, but the glossy finish tends to attract fingerprints, although we were using the phone with its cover most of the time. Measuring 7.6mm thick and weighing 190g, it is slightly bulkier than its predecessor. The reinforced plastic frame, with aluminium alloy at the corners, enhances durability, especially against drops. The Vivo V40 also boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing excellent protection against dust and water, apart from the Pune rains, we also tried dipping it in water and it came out working perfectly.
