The Volkswagen Taigun, ever since it was launched in September 2021, has been a massive success story. The Taigun range has a varied lineup with something to suit almost every possible customer demographic, with options such as a chromed or blacked-out exteriors and luxury-themed or sporty interiors. Part of Volkswagen’s India 2.0 project, the Taigun is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, a more rugged and simplified derivative of the well-known MQB platform and its A0 variant. Such was the success of this project that Volkswagen hit the magical one lakh sales mark within three years of its launch, in August 2024!
