If you see orange machines hard at work recycling material or on a building site in Western Sydney, chances are they're part of projects being undertaken by G.P.P. Industries.
-
Out in the Greater Western Sydney region, G.P.P. Industries has made a name for itself as a leader in infrastructure solutions, driven by a passion for sustainability, innovation, and community.
With more than three decades of experience, it continues to serve as a trusted partner for government projects and major developers across New South Wales.
Starting as a small operation specialising in bulk excavation for high-rise towers in Sydney's CBD, the family-owned business now is involved in a range of activities, including general solid waste recycling; road/rail and utilities infrastructure; concrete constructions; and haulage and disposal. As well, it provides material supply and plant, truck and skip bin hires.
That's quite some feat for a company which had humble beginnings in 1986, founded by Peter Mitropoulos, a visionary with a deep passion for construction and a commitment to excellence. Peter's dedication and expertise quickly earned G.P.P. a reputation for reliability and quality.
In the mid-1990s, G.P.P. made a bold and forward-thinking move by opening an EPAlicensed waste facility in Chullora.
This facility was among the first of its kind, dedicated to recycling waste and minimising landfill impact.
The pioneering step established G.P.P. as a market leader in sustainable practices, setting the stage for its ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.
In 2002, Peter's son Theo joined the company, bringing fresh ideas and a renewed vision for the future.
Under Theo's leadership, G.P.P. not only upheld its core values but also expanded its fleet, capabilities, and services. The company's facility tripled in size, allowing it to explore new areas and significantly enhance its offerings.
Theo's forward-thinking approach ensured that G.P.P. remained at the forefront of industry innovation while maintaining our familyoriented values.
