East-West Coast expansion for tyres specialist
Earthmoving Equipment Magazine
|December 2024 - January 2025
OTR Tyres Wheels Axles has expanded its presence across the country, with the opening of five East Coast locations and one in WA.
-
The renowned wheels, tyres and axles supplier recently acquired some of the Beaurepaire tyre network, resulting in new sites in Geraldton in Western Australia, Eastern Creek in New South Wales and in Queensland at Hendra, Gladstone, Mackay and Mount Isa.
OTR General Manager Travis Parsons said the company already had a long and successful history in WA in supplying multiple tyre brands and servicing the mining, agricultural and four wheel drive tyre markets.
"These additional locations enable us to create a connectivity between the East Coast and the West Coast in terms of servicing large commercial account customers in the TBR (truck, bus, radial) market in addition to off-road, mining, agriculture and passenger vehicles," he said.
"Expansion into these locations is consistent with our strategy to be a one-stop-tyre shop with access to all tyre brands. OTR centres combine all our market segments under one roof where we can provide specialised expertise."
Streamlined customer service
Travis said the advantage to customers was that they have one account through the business to effectively and equally service all market segments.
