The manufacturing of various autonomous and unmanned systems, such as Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) aka ‘drones’ involves a combination of advanced technologies and intricate engineering processes, along with precision in design and assembly, to meet the needs of various sectors and solve the complex challenges of today. The manufacturing process begins with the conceptualisation and design, during which engineers use specialised software to create detailed 3D models, considering factors such as hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, and weight distribution of these various types of unmanned aerial, maritime, and terrestrial systems. Prototyping these designs is crucial, wherein a physical model is created to test and refine the design, as this iterative process helps in optimising the drone's performance and capabilities.
