The Volvo EX30 isn't trying to be everything to everyone—it's a small, stylish EV that knows exactly where it stands. The trick will be in delivering just enough of everything you actually need and not charging you for the extra

FAVOURITE EX

Volvo has always been a bit of an oddball in the luxury space. While the Germans fight tooth and nail over horsepower wars and badge snobbery, the Swedes have quietly gone about building cars that put safety, design, and a touch of calm minimalism above all else. The EX30, however, feels like a different beast. It isn't just the smallest Volvo ever, it's also one of the boldest. The company is betting big on this all-electric crossover to draw in new buyers—especially younger, city-based ones—who might otherwise have gone German, Korean, or even Chinese.

imageSo, is the EX30 the car that changes the way India looks at Volvo? Let's dive in.

At first glance, the EX30 doesn't shout for attention, but it doesn't blend into the crowd either. It's unmistakably Volvo, with the Thor's Hammer LED DRLs, the clean surfacing, and the kind of restrained elegance that makes German rivals look almost overdesigned. The proportions are interesting—it sits higher than a hatch but lower than a traditional SUV, striking a stance that screams crossover in the most modern sense.

imageAround the back, the split taillamps add character, and the lack of unnecessary chrome means the car feels premium without trying too hard. In a market where many EVs feel like spaceships desperately trying to look futuristic, the EX30's calm Scandinavian confidence is refreshing.
