The fourth generation of the flagship SUV has been launched in India and we drive it to find out what else it has apart from its looks to drool over

Drop Dead Gorgeous

I had seen and driven the 4th generation Tucson late last year in the US of A and was eagerly awaiting to drive it in India and also see what all changes Hyundai would make to the car for India considering that this would be Hyundai's flagship in the country.

But first a small word on the legacy of the Tucson in India and globally. As I said earlier, the Tucson has had a chequered history in India as the first generation car was launched in the country in 2005 in place of the larger Terracan but was then discontinued. Thankfully the 2nd generation Tucson did not make it to India as it was probably one of the worst looking cars that Hyundai has made in the recent past. The Tuscon made its return to India with the third generation in 2016 and has been a segment leader albeit with extremely low volumes, in that small niche for two-row SUVs that exists between mid-sized SUVS and the larger three-row SUVS.
