Peugeot 3008 Mk2

THE MK3 Peugeot 3008 was unveiled in autumn 2023, so this Mk2 model seems positively ancient now, having been launched in 2017.

But the 3008 Mk2 got off to a great start in Driver Power by scooping first place out of 75 entries in the 2018 owner satisfaction survey, before dropping to seventh spot in 2019, then climbing back up to second in 2020. Since then its fortunes have been more mixed (the low point was 50th in 2021), but the fact that it's in the top third of the 2025 poll nearly two years after it was superseded is impressive.

On sale from April 2017, the 3008 Mk2 came with an array of petrol and diesel engines, all with frontwheel drive, before the four-wheel-drive Hybrid4 joined the range in January 2020. A hefty facelift in January 2021 kept the 3008 looking fresh, and going by our Driver Power surveys, owners reckon Peugeot has done a great job with the 3008 overall.
