RAW BEAUTY MEETS RUSTIC LUXURY
June 2025
|Architecture + Design
In the heart of Jodhpur’s countryside, Bhagyashri and Saurabh Nawal have crafted a sanctuary that redefines luxury and sustainability through the raw elegance of concrete
How far would you go for something you love? Not the kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat, but the kind that keeps you up at night, consumed by possibilities. For Bhagyashri and Saurabh Nawal, that consuming passion is concrete—yes, concrete.
Their 45-year family legacy with this industrial material has transcended mere business to become an obsession that culminated in Casa Concreto—a villa in the farmlands of Jodhpur where every corner, texture and detail validates their devotion to this seemingly ordinary material. “The name ‘Casa Concreto’ meaning ‘Home to Concrete’, perfectly encapsulates the essence of the project. It’s not just a structure; it’s a living, breathing embodiment of our journey, passion, and love for design,” share Bhagyashri and Saurabh.
As you approach this 17,800 sq ft villa, set within a sprawling 52,272 sq ft property, the countryside’s quietude envelops you. The lawn dotted with manicured greens leads to a lily pond, setting the tone for what lies ahead. A Buddha statue, surrounded by lush landscaping, marks the entrance—a deliberate choice that speaks to the villa’s meditative essence. “This was our way of setting the mood—peaceful, unhurried, and deeply connected to nature,” quips Bhagyashri.
