Back in 2013, when Princess Diya Kumari set up a foundation under her name, it wasn’t trying to reimagine the wheel. It was doing something fairly straightforward: creating space for women who had been consistently left out — of education, of jobs, of basic opportunity. Over the last decade, the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF) has done just that, but with a slightly different playbook; one that combines vocational training, financial awareness, and a refreshingly practical sense of what “empowerment” actually looks like.
