My father was a Siberian, my mother was an American Shorthair, but my human mom says I am a doctor – a cardiologist, in fact – because I can bring a healing touch to everyone’s heart. That’s why Mom calls me “Doctor Pepper.” Almost every weekend, my mom gives me a top-quality bath to get me ready for another cat show. Sometimes we drive for hours, but my mom knows I love the trips. On our way to the show, I enjoy looking out the window, peacefully taking in the landscape until I see those big concrete-and-glass trees my mom calls buildings. The sound of the engine and wind against the windows often puts me to sleep for several quick catnaps. In between catnaps, I wonder which concrete tree will be our next stop. Eventually, we arrive at wherever it is, and my mom takes me into the tree for the show. I love going into the tree because there are so many professional cat petters there who massage my back and neck. My mom finds only the best for me.
