Gooderson Leisure Invests In Knysna Resort

The addition of Knysna Chalets, located just 5km near the picturesque village and popular tourist destination Knysna with a view of the lagoon, now forms part of the Gooderson Leisure portfolio, an exciting milestone.

Not only is it the first Western Cape property for a company that is well represented in both KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga but, according to new general manager, Cheryl Otto, an opportunity to introduce a whole new destination and experience to Gooderson’s loyal guests whilst, also, welcoming new travellers to the overall Gooderson offering.
Knysna Chalets has 28 units. Each of them accommodates two adults in the main bedroom and two children on sleeper couches in the lounge. All chalets are comfortably furnished and equipped with a kitchenette, TV and M-Net, braai facilities, an upright standing fan, a heater fan and Wi-Fi.
The resort has a games room, children’s playground, and swimming pool and each chalet features a private braai area. The chalets also have access to a slipway, ideal for launching your boat into the lagoon as well as boat parking making for a perfect fishing holiday or simply boating and taking in the picturesque views.

They are the perfect base from which to explore the legendary Knysna and its beautiful surrounds.
Our guests enjoy the small town feeling and culinary delights of a place that is home to the famous Knysna Oyster. Knysna has many al fresco dining spots in and around town or at the popular Knysna Quays. These restaurants offer fresh fish and delicious seafood caught by local fishermen in wonderful settings with views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads.
