Just the smartwatch Wear OS needed

Most smartwatch manufacturers have built their smartwatch ecosystem based on their homegrown OS. Take Apple, Samsung and Fitbit, for instance. However, many other smartwatch manufacturers focus on the hardware but rely on Google to offer software in the form of Wear OS but they have failed to make an impact in the smartwatch space. Things are looking different with the Oppo Watch.

Apple Watch is the gold standard for smartwatches and the Oppo Watch’s design seems to be inspired by the best. We can safely say that it is one of the best looking Wear OS watches in the market today. The dual-curved AMOLED display on the top puts focus on the large 1.91-inch display that delivers great viewing angle, contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The luxurious screen is complemented with two buttons on the side - one acting as a home key and the other with a green accent as a quick action key. Do note, the dual-curved display is only available on the 46mm variant as the smaller 41mm features a 1.6-inch “rigid” AMOLED display. As for the fluoro rubber strap, it is interchangeable with a simple button mechanism and is comfortable for everyday use. The heart rate sensor and the charging points are at the bottom. Overall, there’s very little to complain about the Oppo Watch design and while we would have liked Oppo to bring a little uniqueness to the design but this too personifies its premium looks.
