This is simplicity at its best when it comes to design and there’s not much you can otherwise expect from a device at this price. Yes, there’s no fancy punch-hole display or any other premium design bits on offer here either.

That doesn’t mean there’s been a compromise on build quality. It feels sturdy and the finish is great. It’s nice to touch and it will tempt you to not use the cover included in the box. It also fits perfectly into the palm and feels like a great device overall.

The 64mp snapper at the back is top-notch for the price. Your snaps come out crisp and clean and there’s not a hint of over-saturation. HDR does liven things up a bit especially when you click some greenery but apart from that there’s no problem. It’s a quick snapper too, although we aren’t very big fans of the ultra-wide lens.

The 44mp front snapper is a real treat and manages some great details along with impressive dynamic range. Selfies are on the softer side though, but appear natural. If you vlog a lot, you’re going to love the eye autofocus which does a brilliant job.

With the Snapdragon 720G and 8GBs of RAM, the V20 keeps up with almost everything you throw at it. Although if you’re a heavy gamer, you might want to look elsewhere to get your fix.
