What’s in the box?

The massage gun itself is quite compact and can be easily carried in your gym bag or even a handbag. You get a handy pouch along with four attachments – ball head, forkhead, bullet head, and flat head. The ball head is for low impact massaging, forkhead is for the spine and neck, bullet head is for pinpoint massage to your hands or feet, and lastly the flat head is meant for larger muscle groups.

Do I need to be a certified massage therapist?

While it can be a bit daunting for first-timers, using a massage gun doesn’t have a steep learning curve. You don't even need a professional to help you out. Flexnest has a handy document that lists the purpose of the different heads, and when to switch between various speeds. It surely helps, but you do miss app support or some sort of video series that could have shown the device being used by professionals. This would have ensured proper use of the gun for the best results.
