Automation Can Take The Pain Out Of Cloud Migration
PCQuest
|July 2021
With automation, much of the manual custom scripting and spreadsheet maintenance is no longer necessary, and by eliminating that, you’ll significantly reduce the likelihood of errors occurring during the migration process
As we look to the future, it’s safe to say that the impact of the global pandemic will influence business for years to come. Some industries are just now beginning to recover, and as part of this process, leaders are looking for new technology solutions to help them operate more effectively and efficiently.
Cloud software has been and will continue to be instrumental to workers’ collaboration and teamwork. Consider that earlier this year, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Jeff Teper tweeted that Teams has 145 million daily active users. That was up from 115 million users in October 2020. And Microsoft is not alone. During the past 18 months, other businesses worldwide have seen skyrocketing adoption rates for collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Panopto, Slack, WebEx and Zoom.
Now, increasingly, businesses are looking to the cloud for other solutions to streamline operations, realize productivity gains and save money. Many experts believe businesses of all sizes will continue to invest in cloud-based solutions for infrastructure management, assessment and reporting, cost analysis, and an array of other functions.
Why the Cloud?
Compared with on-premise solutions, solutions that reside in the cloud are often easier to deploy, cheaper to operate, and offer superior security and scalability. In addition, businesses adopting solutions from multiple cloud vendors have many more choices available.
