Spike started life as an email app that presented message threads like a conversation in a messaging app, making it feel less formal than a traditional email client. Since then it’s grown into a full–featured email tool, and version 3 adds several new features that take it beyond email and on the way to becoming a collaborative working tool along the lines of Slack or Microsoft Teams.
