New Recruits Boost Ladies' WSL 1 Squad

It’s not just the men’s side of Everton Football Club that has had a busy summer – the Ladies have been just as hectic.

With the plethora of new talent arriving to bolster Ronald Koeman’s squad, plus another raft of signings swelling the Under-23s’ ranks, Andy Spence has been hard at work improving his own group of players.

Initially, that meant looking at making key additions to mount an assault on the WSL 2 title, having come so close last season. However, with Notts County’s liquidation and a space opening up in WSL 1, a return to the top flight was secured with The FA choosing the Toffees as County’s replacement.

That led to a brand new set of targets, and Spence has been busy adding them to his squad.
