Yates Makes History In Pink Jersey

Simon Yates rode himself into the record books last week, racking up more wins in a Grand Tour leader’s jersey in a single race than any Brit before him.

Yates went into the second rest day with the maglia rosa on his shoulders having held it for 10 days. In that time he repeatedly attacked and won three stages — the first rider to do so at the Giro since Gilberto Simoni in 2003.
