Samsung Mobile Chief Says Foldable Phone Coming This Year

Will 2018 be the year Samsung finally unveils its long-promised foldable smartphone?
The company’s mobile chief says yes. In an interview with CNBC, Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh said the South Korean tech giant finally plans to unveil a smartphone with a foldable display this year, though there’s no word as to when the device will actually go on sale.
Samsung may show off the handset at its annual developer conference, which takes place in November, the report notes.
