Hackers spy on Latifa supporter

A BRITISH lawyer who supported “hostage” Dubai Princess Latifa says he thought he was “losing his mind” before discovering his phone had been hacked by ultra-sophisticated spyware.

David Haigh found out he was being tracked by Pegasus spyware on his iPhone after being alerted by Amnesty International.

The technology even allows hackers to see their victim by activating the phone’s camera.

Mr Haigh, 43, said the infiltration coincided with his life becoming “a game of cat and mouse with unknown dark forces”.

The human rights campaigner has been working with Princess Latifa, 35, the daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed.

She claimed she was being held as a hostage by her father’s regime and feared for her life.
