The Prime Minister’s wife opted for a smart blue trouser suit which echoed former Conservative women prime ministers Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May.

Carrie, 33, showed off her style prowess in the Tory-blue, slim-fitting £595 jacket and £395 flared trousers, both by Amanda Wakeley. She topped her chic look with a sophisticated up-do.

The mother-of-one also sported a crisp white shirt and black pointed-toe Jimmy Choo heels.
