THOUSANDS of winter holidaymakers face missing flights home because they cannot find the Covid tests they need to get back to Britain in remote alpine resorts.
Under fresh travel restrictions designed to slow down the spread of the new Omicron variant of the virus, all travellers over the age of 12 now need to show a negative lateral flow or PCR test result from no more than 48 hours before departing back to the UK.
