My partner has asked if her three adult children – plus their other halves – can move in with us.

I have a decent sized house, but it’s by no means a mansion.

Having anyone extra here will be a struggle. And I feel bad because I’ve told my retired mother she can’t have the spare room because I need it for an office.

I love my partner. She’s funny, sexy and a breath of fresh air.

She helped to turn my life around after a horrible divorce and a brush with death.

She has a fantastic way of making me feel good about myself. Sadly, the same can’t be said of her children (22, 24 and 26).

I can’t stand any of them. I’ve always found them chippy and sneering. I can see in their eyes that they don’t like me.
