Whites' Scott Is Smoking Hot

A MAN-OF-THE-MATCH performance from Scott Doe gave Dover Athletic the win at Yeovil Town.

Doe scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute when a Jack Munns freekick found him unmarked in the box and the centre back coolly finished.

Dover were without six players going into the game at Huish Park through injury, suspension and international duty, but defended excellently to leave with all three points.

“I watch him (Doe) in training every day and he makes the game look easy,” said manager Andy Hessenthaler.

“We’ve just presented him with a cigar because he actually plays the game like he’s got a cigar in his mouth, he’s that comfortable. He reads the game so well.

“He’s been magnificent. We’ve got two centre-halves out injured and they’re going to find it difficult to dislodge Scott Doe and Paul Rooney.
