JAKE GOSLING capped a brazen, effervescent display with a daring Panenka penalty that helped guide Sporting Khalsa past tricky underdogs.

Aylestone Park certainly gave the hosts a game and had decent openings, particularly in the opening 15 minutes, but had no answer to Khalsa’s pressing.

Having put Khalsa 2-1 up Gosling doubled the cushion from the spot, chipping down the middle after sub Enoru Beck-Ray brought down Lewis Worsey a minute after coming on.

Khalsa assistant Ross Miller revealed to The NLP: “He keeps doing it, I think he is trying to give the gaffer (Ian Rowe) a heart attack! Jake is loved at the club and anyone who comes down here knows he is always putting on a show.
