Brad’s got hitched, on and off the pitch

BRAD COOKE was always going to be the perfect match for the Atherton Collieries job – but FIrst, he had to get married!
The 33-year-old tied the knot with long-term partner Siobhan on Friday before spending a few days away on honeymoon.
Cooke played 265 times for Colls, scoring 40 goals, and captained them to their North West Counties League Division One and Premier Division title wins under previous boss Michael Clegg.
When Clegg left to join BetVictor NPL Premier rivals Ashton United last week, Colls knew exactly who they wanted.
And it came in the build-up to one of the biggest days in Cooke’s life!
“I’ve been out to 11 pm every night and been on my phone all the time – my missus is absolutely livid, I don’t know why she’s going through with it!” Cooke laughed with The NLP on Thursday.
“We go straight to Dublin on Saturday morning so I’ve promised her the phone is staying in the room – no football. I’ll have to check the result but apart from that, nothing.
