Being in a high- profile relationship isn’t always easy, as Katie Holmes herself can attest. But keeping up a behind-the-scenes romance isn’t a cakewalk, either: Just a few months ago, the need for total secrecy was said to have nearly split the actress, 37, from her (covert) boyfriend of three years, Jamie Foxx. “They couldn’t walk down the street holding hands,” a source says. “At first, it was like an exciting challenge, but after a while, it became too hard.”
