BRENDAN Rodgers’ tenure at Celtic has ushered in an exciting era, not only in terms of recent successes in the form of a treble winning invincible campaign and the return of Champions League to Paradise, but for the future too.

He has made it clear the Celtic Academy is that future and one of the Bhoys which Hoops fans can be excited about is Mikey Johnston.

Supporters have already been given a glimpse of the promising winger who made his competitive debut in the 4-1 victory over St Johnstone towards the end of last season. Immediately following that game, he signed a new three-year deal with his boyhood heroes and is eyeing another opportunity in the side.
