Nit Bitton states that advice from Jozo Simunovic, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney helps him in the backline

NIR Bitton has credited his defensive colleagues at Celtic for helping him excel as a centrehalf.
The Israeli internationalist normally operates in midfield but he has moved further back on the pitch in recent weeks after injuries to Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata.
A lack of competitive experience of the position has proved no barrier to the 25-year-old, who has proved a more than able deputy.
And his assured performances have been pivotal in the Hoops earning a number of impressive victories in domestic and European competition, including last week’s stunning 5-0 victory over FC Astana in the UEFA Champions League play-off.
Speaking exclusively to this week’s View, Bitton was keen to highlight the assistance he has received from the rest of the backline – Jozo Simunovic, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney.
