Celtic Receive European Award For Promoting Access And Inclusion

CELTIC are delighted to announce that the club and disabled supporters have been honoured by the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) for their work in promoting access for all.

At a conference in Bilbao, Spain, Celtic and the Celtic Disabled Supporters’ Association (CDSA) were presented with a special Collaboration Award - to mark an ongoing commitment to the delivery of facilities and initiatives promoting access and inclusion.
Accepting the award were Peter Ritchie and Kevin Mackin from the CDSA and Alexis Dobbin, Celtic’s Disability Access Officer.
CAFE presented four Access and Inclusion Champions awards at its third International Conference – ‘Total Football Total Access’ - in Bilbao.
The International CAFE Conference is the largest event of its kind, bringing together key stakeholders from across all levels of the game in Europe to promote access and inclusion.
To celebrate some of the great achievements taking place across Europe, CAFE presented the following four awards:
The club initiative award
The collaboration award
The national association initiative award
The special recognition award
