A Decade In The Hoops
Celtic View

Scott Brown signed a pre-contract with Celtic 10 years ago this week.

SCOTT Brown arrived in Paradise 10 years ago with ambitions of collective and individual success. Little did he know he would also fall in love with Celtic.
On Tuesday, the Hoops captain marked a decade at the club since Gordon Strachan won the race for his signature back on May 16, 2007.
In that time, he has won a huge amount of silverware, including seven league titles, and starred in the UEFA Champions League. He has also become an established Scotland internationalist and captain of club and country.
And, while there have been highs and lows along the way, Brown told the View that he could never have changed any of it for the world.
“I had planned to come to Celtic and do as well as I possibly could and see what happened from there,” he said in an exclusive interview. “But I grew to love the club, the training ground, the fans and the manager who was there at the time as well. It was a great experience and I never thought in my football career would be as good as it has been.
