Alexandrine Lukach, the founder and chief designer of Contemporary Design Studio, spent a portion of the pandemic with her family in this leased apartment in Lugano, Switzerland.

THE PROPERTY

The Ukrainian interior designer and her family of four live in the 1,076 sq ft, two-bedroom apartment, which boasts a Mediterranean character and an impressive variety of nature.

LIVING & DINING

Furniture, soft furnishings, and art play a key role in the design of this open-plan space. The dining ensemble is made up of a vintage, handmade wooden table and Cesca S32 dining chair by Marcel Breuer for Thonet from the 1960s. On the table is the metal sculpture named Dream by Pierre Grumbache.
