Rarely do you come across a home that’s designed with a singular artistic vision, where every element resonates with a singular aesthetic. So, when we chanced upon Terracotta House by Veeram Shah of Design ni Dukaan, we knew we were in the presence of something truly unique. Its spatial planning, interior design, furniture, textiles and decor products are all created by Veeram himself, to ensure that this singular identity isn’t lost.

Rather than assimilating curated objects into a space, this home showcases an ensemble of material exploration, customised installations and original furniture design. Indeed, the approach is nothing if not sustainable, owing to the significant use of natural, locally sourced materials that are handcrafted by native artisans.
