If you want to send a household into meltdown in 2020, mess with the modem. Interrupt the wi-fi and watch on as your children become helpless hopeless automatons dropping tears of frustration onto their tablets and wondering who this person is sitting across the breakfast table from them. It seems barely conceivable that just a decade or two ago, people who were related to one another might all engage in the same activity at the same time. What’s more, these games weren’t preceded by the word “video” but “board”.
