Much has happened since Cox Automotive acquired C Walton Ltd’s vehicle services business at Bruntingthorpe in March.

While the former RAF and USAFE base can no longer hold its popular Cold War Jets Open Days and the Cold War Jets Museum is no more, Cox Automotive’s latest statement brings more positive news. It confirms that David Walton, CWL director, is ‘currently investigating the construction of new buildings to house some of the aviation collection and to safeguard their future on land that is excluded from the Cox Automotive UK lease.’ This bodes well for Victor K2 XM715, Comet 4C XS235
