Friends say the pub mogul, 45, was sick and tired of playing second fiddle to popular Sophie, 37 – so much so he decided to call it quits on the relationship.

Now Woman’s Day has learned the Bachelorette winner is already relentlessly pursuing another woman.

“Stu couldn’t cope with the fact no one was really interested in him,” our source says. “He felt he was constantly fighting to even get a word in, because all the attention was on Sophie. He found it a big blow to his ego.

“You have to remember, Stu is from one of the wealthiest families in Australia and he’s used to being the centre of attention. He didn’t really give much thought to what it was going to be like to be a celebrity handbag – and when he found out, he didn’t like it.”
