He’s been in the driver’s seat for over 15 years, but now insiders are calling time on David “Kochie” Koch’s stint on Sunrise, and word is Perth local media man Basil Zempilas will replace him.

“Basil is basically waiting for the tap on the shoulder and to be told to pack his bags for Sunrise,” tells a well-placed insider, who confirms recent reports there is a Seven shake-up on the cards.

“It’s no secret Kochie’s been discussing his next move for a while, and everyone thinks Basil is perfect for the job.”
