The Iron Throne may force Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen to make a heartbreaking choice...
-

As the dust settles on the mighty, game-changing battle at Winterfell, this week’s Game of Thrones returns to the intrigue and infighting between Westeros’ rival families.
At the midway point of the final season, the love affair between Jon Snow and Daenerys is reaching a crucial stage – not least because they are now both aware of Jon’s true heritage and his claim to the Iron Throne. So, how will the revelation affect their relationship?
‘We’ve seen Jon and Daenerys embarking on a huge romance, which has been great. But whatever happens next, this is the final love story for both of them,’ teases Kit Harington, 32, who plays Jon Snow.
‘They’ve come a long way and accomplished a lot,’ adds Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys. ‘She loves Jon, but she also loves power.
In fact, power is the overarching theme of the whole show – what it is and what it does to people.’
But although Jon and Daenerys share an intense and passionate relationship on screen, away from the cameras, things are different for Harington and Clarke.
