The first season of Canadian medical drama Transplant ended on a huge cliffhanger when a mysterious woman turned up at York Memorial Hospital – to the shock of surgeon and Syrian refugee Dr Bashir ‘Bash’ Hamed.
This week, as the series returns, she reveals herself as Rania, who Bash was set to marry in war-torn Syria five years ago.
