Sometimes funny and straightforward stories also hold man lessons and morals to be learnt.

This is a rom-com story written against the backdrop of the political scenarios in the Bengal state. The story is set up at a particular time, and the image of students and their active participation in politics is described good. This is the story of the newly appointed lady teacher in the State's rural area. Her plight and her story when new characters get introduced are what make the story.

Apart from being engaging, the narration is informative and humorous. The incidents that involve good humour are always appreciated, and the same is proved here.

Including Dita Roy, a young and intelligent English teacher, Palash Bose, and other characters, including the village, Phulpukur, which has an exciting name, are all well-drafted.

This story explores the darker side of love and how it is exploited for political gains. There are selfish motives and ugly politics involved. Out protagonist, Dita, makes a place on this roller coaster. All these are written with clear language and good wit. The writing thus makes the story interesting to read.
