INSTEAD of hiring a surrogate like Elton John and other gay male marrieds have done, Matthew Eledge kept it all in the family — he had his mom carry the baby for him and hubby Elliot Dougherty.

So, on March 25, Cecile Eledge, 61, gave birth to her own granddaughter — Uma Louise.

But little Uma is really related to both families because she comes from Matthew’s sperm and an egg donated by Elliot’s sister, Lea Yribe.

“She’s beautiful!” gushes Matthew, of Gretna, Neb. “We are really grateful both Uma and her grandma are here, happy and healthy.”
