Alia Bhatt has been in the news recently for a lot of reasons other than her upcoming film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania. If it’s not her stand against nepotism in Bollywood, it was the recent death threats that her family received. The actress has also spoken about how unfair it is that women are shamed and judged for the kind of clothes they were in our society. In an interview , she said,” It’s saddening that our clothes are given so much attention, especially with respect to security. Clothing is such an important issue, but only for girls. If we wear something, it might create a problem for some reason. I’ve never seen such concern with respect to men or boys.”
