THERE have been many employees involved within the business since the doors opened in 1967. My future wife Reggie (Regina) commenced with office duties before taking control of the newly established “Easy Guy” unit in Lendal. This continued until 1976 when a decision to start a family was made. Cannot name all staff members, but some deserve a mention such as Pat Robson, parttime helper in the late sixties who later owned a successful ladieswear shop in Heworth. The two Audreys, Clough and Johnson both avid members of Five Hill Golf Club working from mid-seventies through to the early nineties, their speciality was the knitwear section when Pringle was top of the Tree (or even tee). At the same time as the Audrey’s, Don Sykes manager of Retlaws based in Lendal, retired at 65. Shortly after he joined ourselves, staying for 20 years and even then reluctant to say goodbye. He was part of a small team at 67 Low Petergate (now Bradley’s) which included
