It’s the staff behind the scenes at care and retirement homes that can make all the difference to our loved ones enjoying their new residence

- Alisha Davis

A helping hand

When a loved one moves into a care or retirement home, they can find it difficult to assimilate into their new surroundings. More and more older people are moving into them; in the UK 405,000, older people (65+) currently live in care homes. As well as the family plays a huge role in helping them settle into their new environment, it’s also down to the staff who are the driving force behind keeping residents comfortable and happy.
