Don't Rip Out the Wires From Our Lives

Here’s a little thought experiment.

 Pretend that newspapers and websites never existed, and then ask yourself which of the following you’d be most likely to pay for: a printed version of the news that’s at least 12 hours out of date and that you have to walk half a mile to the newsagent to collect, or a constantly updated live news feed that you can access instantly from your phone, tablet or computer. Bit of a no-brainer, right? But even so, old habits see millions buying newspapers every day while their websites struggle to get anyone to pay.
