512 Audio comes from US audio experts Warm Audio, maker of award-winning pro audio products that are used by big names ranging from Michael Buble to Chvrches and Green Day. The Skylight is designed for home recording use, and it’s been built specifically for podcasting, broadcasting and singing.

The Skylight is an affordable XLR condenser mic with a large, 34mm gold-plated capsule. Like other condensers it needs phantom power so you’ll need to connect it to a suitable audio interface. The package includes a shock mount and a small but very effective clip-on pop shield.
